1987

AD OPT Technologies is founded by researchers from the internationally renowned division analysis research group, GERAD

1993

First Altitude PairingTM and Altitude BLISS products successfully delivered to UPS

1994

First Altitude PBS delivered to Air Canada, making AD OPT the pioneer in the global approach to crew Preferential Bidding Systems (PBS)

1999

AD OPT becomes a public company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol AOP.

2001

First Altitude Insight delivered to Qantas. AD OPT also launches a comprehensive vacation bidding system, Altitude VBS

2007

First Pairing Repair Module delivered to Atlas Air

2009

AD OPT launches its next generation crew interface, iBid, designed with Web 2.0 technology and rich internet applications

2014

AD OPT and Sabre, a leading global technology provider to the travel and tourism industry, teamed up to bring optimized crew planning and scheduling to airlines. AD OPT’s optimized crew planning solutions integrated with Sabre’s next generation Crew Management platform to enable airlines to streamline operations, reduce costs and increase productivity while improving crew satisfaction.

2017

AD OPT launched their next generation Crew Interface. This elegantly designed interface is touch-friendly and accessible through desktop or mobile devices. The crew interface will further enable crew members to easily manage work schedules and personal interests.

2018

AD OPT made significant improvements in their core optimization technology, enabling them to provide their customers with considerably reduced rum times for their Altitude Pairing, Altitude Rostering, and Altitude PBS applications
